Are you curious as to how superstar models and top actors and actresses are able to shed those unwanted pounds so quickly? Think about it, one month they put on 20 extra pounds for a leading role in some movie and then 2 months later, they are back to their normal weight. Here are seven secrets to weight loss success that their trainers hope you never figure out.
1. In your effort to lose weight, it is vital that you stay far away from foods that may inflame your body's natural ability to burn calories. As I list many of the types of foods you should avoid, none will come as much of a surprise. First on the list are foods high in saturated fats. You will also want to stay away from sodas and other sugary drinks. Of course, pork is a big no, no. You should however eat darker colored fruits and vegetables on a routine basis, at least 4 times a week.
2. Make sure you drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Listen, I know this may not be the most exciting secret but I have one question for you. Do you do this? If not, start today and you will be stunned at the results. Water provides your body the needed fuel to safely burn more calories with much less effort.
3. Eat smaller portions. When you eat meals, one of the things you should keep in mind is the size of portions you are eating. Eat smaller portions and chew your food slower. If you take longer to enjoy your food then you will feel fuller faster. This will help in losing weight too.
4. Cut the late night munchies. Are you a person that snacks when they get bored? Snacking in some cases is okay however most people go overboard. While your snacks don't necessarily have to be fruits or vegetables, I highly recommend it.
5. Jumpstart your weight loss goals with mild to moderate daily exercise. By now every fitness professional agrees that your muscles burn more fat than any other body part. In fact, it is the only part that burns fat while you are sleeping. The key here is not to rush. Don't waste money on expensive exercise equipment when most of what you'll need is at home.
6. When you know you are going to be away from home, bring foods that are healthy for you that you enjoy. Stay far from the pre-packaged crap that is nothing more than sugar in a box. You never want to find yourself out and about while hungry. Hungry people make poor eating decisions. I guess now you know why many of these movie sets have full time chefs on staff.
7. The final secret to losing weight is commitment. You must be able to fully commit to all of these steps in losing weight on a daily basis. If you are entirely committed you will watch the pounds shed off of your body and you will be healthier too.
If you are serious about losing weight then you need to take it seriously. Clean out your cupboards of all of the fatty foods that aren't healthy and start a new diet. Cut down on the amount of food you are eating and no more raiding the fridge in the middle of the night. Exercise daily and be sure to drink plenty of water. If you can dedicate your body to this regimen then you will notice weight loss within as soon as a week.
