4. Zocor (Simvastatin)
5. Pravachol (Pravastatin)
These drugs lower cholesterol.
Gemfibrozil Lopid should in addition not be taken by patients whose cholesterol levels are only a little elevated, since its benefits hardly outweigh the risks of severe side effects.
